The weather in NYC has been very unsatisfactory of late. It's too warm in the afternoon, then too cold in the evenings, and this week it's been raining on and off with more to come tomorrow, how lovely. It's not that I dislike rain, it's just that I hate, hate HATE getting wet. I'm totally fine with sitting indoors with a mug of hot chocolate in hand, staring out of the window at the rain pouring outside, but stick me out in the rain and I become so miserable. But to cheer me (and you) up, here's a picture of the Hudson when I went biking along the Hudson River Greenway two weeks ago.

| Don't you wish it were you sunbathing? I didn't even notice the woman until looking at the photos after coming back home |
It's been exactly a month since school started and I'm already feeling the sophomore slump. I feel so confused and lost; I have no idea what I should do with my life. But at least the month has passed by so fast, which means one more month closer to summer!
On another note, I never realized how expensive it was to live in Manhattan until this year. Freshman year, I was on a meal plan and didn't have to worry about grocery shopping and cooking, but this year, it's been such a stress on my life. Especially since I love Trader Joe's and Whole Foods (habit from living in Southern California for so long), even it takes me 30 minutes to get to the nearest store. But while I was walking to TJ's on Monday, I saw the Empire State Building and was wondering what color it was when I heard (fine, eavesdropped) a couple saying that it was pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
